Event Details

Materials and methods are constantly changing. Thousands of dental products enter the market each year, yet very few of them will still be available in 3 years. Many manufacturers rush products to market without proper research and development, placing a huge burden on practitioners to find what works and avoid what doesn't work.

As a CR evaluator who has tested hundreds of products, many before they go on the market, Dr. McOmie bridges the gap between research and clinical practice. Drawing from his full-time private practice experience, he shares insights into materials and techniques that enhance quality, speed, efficiency, case acceptance and profitability. A win-win for both patients and practitioners.

Webinar Highlights

  • An evaluation of types of zirconia with selection criteria based on aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Addressing the #1 inquiry facing Gordon Christensen's C.R. Foundation: zirconia crown cementation
  • Leveraging Digital Smile Design (DSD) with exocad and high-resolution photography to enhance case acceptance

Join Dr. McOmie to discover how combining material expertise with digital visualization can transform your practice's clinical outcomes.

Learning Objectives

After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and longevity of new dental crown and bridge materials introduced in the past 3 years to determine best practices for clinical application.
  • Identify optimal cementation techniques and materials specifically for zirconia crowns based on current research and clinical trials.
  • Compare and contrast digital scanning technology versus traditional PVS impressions in terms of accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and clinical efficiency.
  • Implement improved retraction methods and contemporary matrix band techniques to streamline restorative procedures, enhance clinical outcomes, and increase practice profitability.
